From an evolutionary perspective, long hair makes no sense. It would get caught in trees. It would get oily and smell quickly, giving away your location. If the wind shifted, it could get in your eyes right when you needed to watch out for attacks.

It is a miracle that head hair is still even a thing for most people. It seems like an evolutionary mistake that will eventually just fade away leaving a new breed of human devoid of this sillyness.

The only explanation is that the 'hair lobby' is working with scientists to come up with so many ways to slow the inevitable removal of the extraneous fluff. Be free. Be bald. Be proud!
